Pastel Half Moons

I didn't like the thought of going to work with plain nails, but with little time and the need for sleep I went for these bright/pastel half moons! With a mix up on the ring finger..

And because they're brighter than normal i got more comments than usual!

London Skyline

 A selection of London monuments and buildings.. I love the idea of landscape nail arts, there are thousands of possibilities to explore with this theme! May New York next? Or UK landmarks?

Back to School

My gran went back to school after the Easter holidays with some maths inspired nails! I hope they went down well with her class!

I love the colours here, the beige half moons give the illusion that your fingers are longer and more elegant. Love it!

Pink gradient fans

For this one, I painted the full nail purple, sponged on pink at the tips and then finished with a fan shape.

Green Goblin

A little experiment between forest green nail polish, gold glitter and comic books!

Not quite nail art!

Can't take credit for this as nail art, but felt I had to share just how effective magnetic nail polish is! 

Simple grey gradient

I had to paint my nails in a hurry and not content with block colour I added a simple design to my ring finger. Now I'm sure I've seen this design somewhere before but can't remember where so can't give credit where it's due.

Summer Tribal

I've just had my birthday and my wonderful flatmates bought me the newly released limited edition COOK MAC nail polishes. They've released 3 shades, Acid green, Aqua and Coral.
Thought I'd test them out with a tribal pattern!

OffTheNail, OffTheNail, OffTheNail, Off the nail, Off the nail

They're quite watery so you need to double the coats up which isn't ideal for this design. They'd make an ideal base coat for your nail art though. I'll be using these brights alot in the summer! Acid Green twister lolly perhaps?

Gold Leaf Tribal

Gold leaf was everywhere at London Fashion Week this year, in the hair of TopShop models and on the mens Nails for Astrid Anderson!

So, I thought it was about time I got on board and had a go myself!

Here's my first attempt. I laid gold leaf down as an undercoat (using clear nail strengthener to stick it down) and then painted over the top with black acrylic paint before sealing everything in with a top coat of Seche Vite.
